Big odds football predictions for tomorrow

Olympiakos hosts Slovan Bratislava in Piraeus in a first leg from the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round. Stay with us and our big odds football predictions for tomorrow. Let’s get to work!

Olympiakos started the new season in the worst way possible – with a huge failure in the Champions League qualifiers. The Greek giants failed to progress in the competition as they suffered a devastating 0-4 defeat at home against Maccabi Haifa. This led to the departure of the manager Pedro Martins who was sacked after the humiliation.

Now the Greeks must regroup while they still look for a new manager. Olympiakos can’t afford to back down – they are not in the Champions League anymore, but they have a realistic chance to reach the Europa League group stage.

Some changes could be made in Olympiakos’ starting eleven compared to the defeat against Maccabi. Players like Joao Carvalho and Youssef El-Arabi could find themselves in the line-up. At the same time Cameroonian midfielder Pierre Kunde is another option for the Greek side.

Slovan Bratislava also joined the Europa League qualifications after a failure in the Champions League. The Slovakians faced Ferencvaros in the CL qualifying stage, but they were eliminated despite winning the first leg in Hungary.

Just like Olympiakos, Slovan failed in the second game at home and conceded four times for a 1-4 defeat. Vernon De Marco scored in the rematch, but it was far from enough for Slovan. The head coach Vladimir Weiss admitted that whole team was disappointed after missing this opportunity to progress.

That’s the big odds football predictions for tomorrow for the Europa League qualifying match between Olympiakos and Slovan Bratislava on Thursday. Both teams had disappointing affair in the Champions League qualifying stage. The Greeks even changed their head coach. Let’s see how they will react in this first game from the Europa League.
